I really have been motivated lately. I've been reading a good deal of agent sites and blogs. What great motivation! I really like http://caseylmccormick.blogspot.com/ and suggest it.

Ah the new year

Ok we are a bit into the New Year but it's been busy already packed with so much work it is hard to breathe. I guess that is good but why does it seem like I'm either slammed or idle? So many writing projects on the horizon I can't wait  till summer. Those long sunny warm days with sun blazing down (I like it hot). Ah ... Well back to the work needed to be done.

Scrooge

As the holidays come now, I love to watch my favorite seasonal fare on TV which is scrooge. Ah so many versions to watch but it never grows old.  Not that all of them honor Dickens well, but the story is timeless.

Inspiration

I was a bit tired the other day and thinking I need a bit of inspiration. As I thought about this, it came to me that inspiration can come from anywhere. I look to friends, books, pictures, etc. For me when I start writing, I pick up a little thing that reminds me of the book. In one case  a small figurine from an antique shop, another was a photo from where I grew up as a child. The key is to stay inspired. Do what it takes. Be inspired.
